CARBIDE BALL MILLING HEAD, Ø1.8X1.25"
Compact, Controlled Milling for Precision Reinstatement & Surface Shaping
This Carbide Half‑Ball Milling Head is a compact, high‑precision cutter designed for use with Picote robotic cutter systems. Its half‑ball geometry provides a more aggressive cutting face than a full ball while still maintaining smooth, predictable tool behavior inside the pipe.
The flattened spherical profile allows the tool to engage material with a stable, centered cutting action—ideal for trimming liner edges, removing small intrusions, refining reinstatement openings, and performing detail milling where a full ball head may be too rounded and a cylindrical head too aggressive.
The small Ø1.2 x 0.6" size makes it especially effective in tight spaces, curved sections, and areas requiring controlled material removal without risking over‑cutting.
Key Features
- Solid carbide construction: Built for durability, heat resistance, and long service life in demanding CIPP reinstatement environments.
- Half‑ball cutting geometry: Offers a balance between the smooth control of a ball head and the sharper engagement of a flat‑faced cutter.
- Compact Ø1.2 x 0.6" profile: Ideal for fine detail work, trimming, and milling in confined or curved pipe sections.
- Aggressive multi‑edge carbide cutting surface: Efficiently removes cured resin, liner overhangs, small protrusions, and other hardened materials.
- Stable at high RPMs: Balanced for robotic cutter operation, ensuring predictable tool behavior and clean, controlled cuts.
- Excellent for finishing and precision shaping: Perfect for refining reinstatement openings and preparing surfaces for additional rehabilitation steps.
Best For
- Trimming CIPP liner edges
- Removing small intrusions or hardened resin
- Precision reinstatement milling
- Fine surface shaping in 3–6" pipe
