Final expansion and connection component for HydraSlitter® flexi‑tooling systems

The HydraSlitter® Expander Assembly performs the final expansion of the host pipe during lead or copper service line replacement. As part of the modular flexi‑tooling string, it enlarges the existing 1/2″ to 1″ service line into the surrounding soil, creating the necessary space to install 3/4″ new pipe along the same path.

In addition to completing the expansion process, the expander assembly also houses the jaw assembly for secure cable attachment and includes a swivel clevis for connecting the new pipe via a pipe grip—ensuring smooth, aligned, and reliable installation.
