Internal cable‑gripping mechanism for the HydraSlitter® expander assembly

The HydraSlitter® Jaw Assembly is the internal gripping mechanism housed inside the expander assembly. Its purpose is simple and critical: it securely locks onto the pulling cable during lead or copper service line replacement, ensuring consistent, controlled pulling force throughout the slitting and expansion process.

Engineered for durability and reliable engagement, the jaw assembly automatically clamps onto the cable as tension is applied. This secure connection allows the modular flexi‑tooling string and new pipe to advance smoothly through the host line during Same Path® installation.
