Picote Smart Cutter Hubs for 1/2" shaft systems provide the foundational platform for assembling and operating Smart Cutter tooling across a wide range of pipe applications. Designed for use in pipes ranging from 3" to 9", these hubs support high-performance cleaning, preparation, and reinstatement in demanding trenchless environments.
The hub serves as the central mounting point for Side Grinding Panels or Polishing Panels, with a corresponding hub disc used to securely lock the panels into place. As the shaft rotates, the panels expand outward against the pipe wall, delivering consistent 360° contact for uniform surface treatment, efficient material removal, and precise connection reinstatement.
Engineered for versatility across a range of applications, these hubs are available in multiple sizes to match specific pipe diameters and project requirements. Proper hub, panel, and hub disc selection ensures balanced operation and optimal performance when addressing buildup, preparing pipe surfaces, or opening lateral connections.
